Senior Facilities Manager, Fleet Depots

Job Description

Zoox is seeking a highly experienced Senior Facilities Manager to support our growing fleet sites locally and nationally. This role will involve the facility operations of our fleet depots in multiple locations across the US. The ideal candidate will have experience managing multiple sites with a focus on facility services that drive efficiency, safety, and operational excellence. You will be detail-oriented with strong technical knowledge (MEP systems), financial management skills, and possess excellent and open customer-service abilities while engaging across all departments and cross-functional teams (Places and Build, IT, security, food, events, etc) at Zoox. The role requires 30% travel to support fleet sites operations and expansions.

In this role you will:

• Design and execute a facilities management program that can scale as the company expands its depot footprint in new cities while managing current day-to-day operations in existing facilities.
• Evaluate existing operations, design new efficiencies, and secure services as required.
• Collaborate closely with the real estate, construction, and operations teams to support new site selection, build-out planning, and facilities commissioning.
• Manage budgets for facility operations, maintenance, and vendor contracts.
• Ensure all Fleet Sites comply with local regulations, EHS standards, and company policies.

Qualifications

• 10+ years of experience in multi-city Facilities operations and management.
• Proven experience managing outsourced vendors and services in multiple locations
• Ability to create, manage, and track financials across the portfolio (Opex and CAPEX)
• Experience managing industrial spaces (fabrication shops, R&D labs, logistics, automotive shops, etc.)
• Strong technical knowledge of building systems & maintenance (HVAC, fire life safety, lighting, electrical, plumbing, EV charging stations, etc.)

• Bachelor’s degree preferred

Compensation There are three major components to compensation for this position: salary, Amazon Restricted Stock Units (RSUs), and Zoox Stock Appreciation Rights. The salary range for this position is $110,000 to $182,000. A sign-on bonus may be offered as part of the compensation package. Compensation will vary based on geographic location and level. Leveling, as well as positioning within a level, is determined by a range of factors, including, but not limited to, a candidate's relevant years of experience, domain knowledge, and interview performance. The salary range listed in this posting is representative of the range of levels Zoox is considering for this position.
