What you’ll achieve

As a Software Principal Engineer, you will be responsible for developing sophisticated systems and software based on the customer’s business goals, needs and general business environment creating software solutions.
You will:

• Contribute to the quality of software/storage environments
• Understand design, functional, technical and/or user documentation, as needed
• Develop, review and implement test strategies for software products and systems.

Essential Requirements

• 8+ years of experience with solid working knowledge in storage area/system side: File Systems, NFS.
• Strong ability to work in Linux OS environments (RHEL, SuSe, Fedora etc.)
• Ability to conduct manual testing independently on storage products and applications. Ability to create test plans, strategies and executing them.
• Ability to code in Python, debug problems independently.

Desirable Requirements

• End-to-end working knowledge of any backup/storage application, Cloud Computing – AWS/Azure/GCP, Linux system internals, UNIX system API. Understanding of Jira and Confluence applications. Good understanding of Jenkins, Docker and Kubernetes applications
