What you’ll achieve

We are looking for a legal professional to join the team in Australia. You will play a significant role in policy and business counseling and compliance with relevant laws. This role is 5 days a week in our Chatswood office.

You will:

  • Australian Consumer Law: Provide expertise and legal advice on issues arising in ANZ including oversight of ACL compliance and risk management initiatives.
  • Regulatory Compliance: Proactively monitor and provide advice and guidance on laws and regulations application to Dell ANZ Business. Proactively identify regulatory risks and develop mitigation strategies.
  • Advisory: Provide legal advice in a timely, accurate manner on a wide range of legal issues in a fast-paced environment.
  • Collaboration: Work collaboratively with Legal colleagues Internationally to manage and respond to requests for legal support and participate in regional and international legal initiatives.
  • Training and Communication: Effective delivery of advice and training to internal teams.

Essential Requirements:

  • Bachelor of Laws (LLB).
  • Admission as a solicitor in Australia and holding a current practicing certificate.
  • 3–4 years of post-qualification experience in a reputable law firm or in-house legal team.
  • Experience in technology, consumer law, and regulatory compliance is highly desirable.
  • Strong knowledge of Australian Consumer Law.
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving abilities.
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills with the ability to influence and collaborate effectively across diverse teams.
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities, work independently, and deliver under tight deadlines.
  • High ethical standards and sound judgment in decision-making.

Desirable requirements:

  • Exposure to other areas of law such as privacy, security and employment law
