Responsibilities:
• Platform Management: Create, deploy, and manage a cloud-native multi-tenant platform and business applications built on the Odoo platform.
• Requirement Analysis: Analyze requirements and confirm understanding with the solution team.
• UI/UX Design: Design user interfaces using Odoo’s out-of-the-box capabilities, JavaScript, Web API, and apply the latest front-end best practices.
• Application Development: Develop applications using Odoo’s capabilities, Python code, and integrate with existing Nokia or third-party software platforms using REST APIs.
• Quality Code: Write high-quality, clean, reusable, and maintainable code with maximum testing automation.
• Testing: Conduct unit, system, performance, and security tests.
• Performance & Security: Ensure high performance and availability of applications, implement security measures, and fix security issues within SLA.
• Integration: Integrate data storage solutions, write JavaScript, database queries/functions, CSS, and HTML.
• Deployment: Containerize deployment solutions and create/maintain CI/CD pipelines as per Nokia blueprint.
• Troubleshooting: Troubleshoot and resolve technical problems to improve application performance and functionality.
• Documentation: Create design documentation, user documentation, and provide L4 support.
• DevOps Cycle: Manage the end-to-end DevOps cycle of the project using GitLab.
Requirements:
• Experience: Proven experience in developing applications on the Odoo platform.
• Technical Skills: Proficiency in Python, JavaScript, HTML/CSS/XML, REST APIs, Docker, Kubernetes, and CI/CD pipelines.
• System Administration: Proficiency in Linux-based environments and container management.
• Database Management: Expertise in PostgreSQL, including tuning and backup strategies.
• Cloud Technologies: Experience with AWS, Google Cloud, Azure, and cloud-based hosting.
• Networking & Security: Knowledge of network security, firewalls, VPNs, and SSL/TLS management.
• DevOps Practices: Experience with Git, Jenkins, TravisCI, and automated deployment pipelines.
• Performance Optimization: Tuning Odoo’s performance settings and optimizing code and queries.
• Soft Skills: Strong problem-solving, communication, and collaboration skills.
Project Details:
• Scope: Design, create, deploy, and manage a cloud-native multi-tenant platform on Odoo.
• Technologies: Odoo ERP v15, Python, JavaScript, HTML/CSS/XML, REST APIs, Docker, Kubernetes, GitLab, PostgreSQL.
• Tools: Jira, GitLab, Confluence.
• Agile Management: Scrum, sprint planning, and retrospectives.
• Deliverables: User stories designed, developed, and tested as per sprint commitments.
