Job Description

We are seeking a dynamic and experienced National First Line Manager – Solid Tumors to lead a team of 10 Key Account Managers and drive commercial excellence across Takeda’s Solid Tumor portfolio in Italy. This includes leadership of Alunbrig for NSCLC and the strategic launch of Fruzaqla (fruquintinib), a recently EC-approved treatment for metastatic colorectal cancer (mCRC).

You will serve as the main point of contact between Takeda and key oncology centers, ensuring high-quality execution of brand strategies while embodying Takeda’s values and commitment to patient-centric care.

Key Responsibilities:

Leadership & Strategy:

  • Lead, coach, and develop a high-performing national team of Account Managers.
  • Set clear objectives aligned with BU goals and foster a performance-driven culture.
  • Act as an ambassador for Takeda’s vision, values, and innovation in oncology.

Commercial Execution

  • Ensure effective commercial implementation of Alunbrig and execute the launch plan for Fruzaqla in close collaboration with cross-functional teams (Marketing, Market Access, Medical, R&D, and Finance).
  • Monitor brand performance, KPIs, and market dynamics; adapt strategy as needed.
  • Develop robust key account and customer engagement plans tailored to stakeholder needs.

Stakeholder Engagement

  • Build and nurture trusted relationships with KOLs, healthcare professionals, and decision-makers across oncology networks.
  • Serve as a strategic partner to top oncology centers to drive uptake and optimize patient outcomes.
  • Represent Takeda at scientific and medical events and ensure high scientific integrity in all engagements.

Operational Excellence

  • Allocate resources effectively across territories; manage budgets and forecast needs.
  • Identify risks, develop mitigation strategies, and ensure execution of critical milestones.
  • Ensure compliance with Takeda’s internal policies, regulatory requirements, and ethical standards.
