Automation SME (Subject Matter Expert) team is a group of automation expertise leveraging cutting edge technologies in industry to develop best in class automation for Apple supplier chain.

Description

Description - In this highly visible role, you will develop AIML (Artificial Intelligence, Machine learning) SW to integrate to automation machine, enhance automation capability to detect cosmetic defects and enable machine self decision making based on big data analysis. - You will learn Apple AIML platform from ML team, and find out solutions to bridge Apple owned AIML platform or other commercial platform to factory automation. - Provide comprehensive analysis result with pros and cons of comparison of different AIML solutions. - Collaborate with automation vendor to establish machine data structure, protocol and IT infrastructure. - Lead AIML SW debug and qualification. - You will be part of the team to qualify automation machine, to ensure they meet design performance.

Minimum Qualifications

Minimum Qualifications

• Bachelor or Master degree in Automation control, Artificial Intelligence or computer science, Ph. D is a plus.
• Proven AIML program experience in university.
• Excellent programming capability of Python/C.
• IOS/MacOS programming experience.
• Fluent in English as a working language (verbal and written).
• Available to join internship for 6 months.

• Proven track record of outstanding academic performances.
• Quick learner, capable to quickly pick up process knowledge, self navigated, proactively to provide innovative solution.
• Ability to work on manufacturing sites independently and willingness on over 50% travel frequently (mainly in China).
• Action oriented, capable to manage the challenges and provide high qualify outcomes.
• Deep understanding of machine learning model development and optimization for numerical data and image data.
• Deep understanding of machine learning popular tools and frameworks.
