The Digital Experience and Merchandising (DE&M) team defines, develops and delivers an exceptional shopping experience for Apple Store Online customers across all of our digital platforms. As a Merchandising Specialist, you will play a key role in developing innovative regional merchandising and story telling strategies that captivate customers and support purchase confidence. You will have the opportunity to shape how people shop, driving innovation and creating best-in-class experiences for Apple customers.
Description
Description This role will support the planning and execution of regional digital merchandising strategies including for campaigns and promotions on Apple flagship stores on China marketplaces and social platforms. This individual will leverage an understanding of business goals, commercial programs, customer journeys and friction points to continuously optimize the e-commerce experience. - Support the development of detailed merchandising strategies, briefs and plans for campaigns and promotions in partnership with worldwide DE&M team, commercial teams, Marketing teams and other stakeholders. - Collaborate with worldwide and regional cross-functional teams for launches to ensure local relevance in merchandising, including navigation, content, curation, and performance optimization. - Generate reports and analyze the performance of the store to extract actionable insights, and translate them into clear recommendations and plans. - Work cross-functionally to understand the customer journey and implement strategies that enhance the digital shopping experience on the platform store. - Regular meetings with peers in AMR and Europe during overlapping business hours.

- 4+ years of experience in digital commerce, marketing, customer experience, digital merchandising, or equivalent experience.
- Fluent English and Chinese

- Experience working closely with creative and UX teams to create innovative customer experiences. Knowledgeable of China marketplaces including Tmall, WeChat, etc.
- BA/BS in related field
- Experience enhancing digital merchandising performance through data-driven insights.
- Solid communication and presentation skills.
- Good understanding of China e-commerce platforms, regional retail trends, including shopping behaviors, consumer preferences and conversion optimization strategies.
- Familiar with using platform analytics reporting tools, Adobe analytics and Tableau
- Demonstrates Apple’s values of inclusion and diversity.
