AppleCare, Cork is responsible for managing customer service and support for the entire EMEIA region. The goal of the AppleCare organisation is to provide world-class technical support and service to the extensive installed base of Mac & iOS products and associated services. We are looking for astute, energetic graduates to work across a number of AppleCare Departments undertaking 3 rotations during a 23 month period. The departments you will work in may include Product Repair and Service management, Customer support, Service Channel Management, Materials and Planning, Business Process Re-engineering, Data Analytics, Engineering & Quality. This is an outstanding opportunity to gain valuable experience across a highly matrixed organisation. Graduates of Business Information Systems, Supply Chain, Engineering, Computer Science, Data Science/Analytics or any similar business disciplines are of particular interest. Description
Description You will rotate through 3 AppleCare departments some of which are outlined below to assist in the ongoing management and development of the extensive AppleCare operations functions supporting our customer base. Duties will include providing support functions to the various teams, developing and presenting business reports, investigating and solving technical and process problems, managing projects etc. There will likely be an opportunity to travel to various customer support and service partner operations within Europe at various points in the program. This role will involve extensive multi-functional teamwork and challenge your array of hard and soft skills daily. The AppleCare environment is a dynamic, fast-paced and complex operation, so the opportunity to learn and develop is immense. Below is a brief description of each of the participating departments : - Product Repair and Service Management: Responsible for managing the extensive range of service providers and repair factories across the EMEIA region. These providers generally are the partners to AppleCare who provide hardware repair services for our customers. - Customer Support: A number of departments in AppleCare provide the management and support to ensure our customers get outstanding technical support for our products and services. - Service Channel Management: This team provides extensive management and oversight to the different channels that our customers have for service, either directly with Apple or through our partner network. - Service Supply Chain Operations (SSCO) - All of the parts and components required to keep the extensive service network going are planned and procured by this department. - Business Process Reengineering: This group provides the project and program management services to develop our comprehensive systems and process network supporting the different AppleCare business groups. - Data Analytics: Data analysis is a critical part of ensuring that our business functions are operating as effectively and efficiently as possible. This team develops the tools and perform the essential services to analyse big data for all business groups within AppleCare
