We deliver an overarching event strategy across the business, including execution for customer & employee events. We are focused on building best practices and standardization for regional event activities. We are committed to creating an exceptional attendee experience across all our events: digital, face-to-face & hybrid.

You'll collaborate with the Global Marketing and Enablement teams to scope, plan and execute video components of key event programs. You’ll be involved in events of all sizes and formats, from large conferences to virtual webcasts, for both Akamai customers and employees. This position may involve travel to event locations within North America or Europe to support on-site event productions.

As a Video Production Coordinator , you will be responsible for:

• Collaborating on event video strategies and driving their delivery
• Coordination of rehearsal, video recording and post-production activities for events and related programs
• Supporting production project management and tracking across multiple stakeholders
• Supporting virtual remote recording sessions and ensuring speaker readiness
• Managing and conducting on-site filming at key events
• Acting as a central point of contact for video programs, including interactions with vendors and executive-level stakeholders throughout Akamai
• Striving for continuous improvement of events and content programs

Do what you love

To be successful in this role you will:

• Have 2 years of relevant experience and a Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Communications or its equivalent
• Have experience coordinating the production of live and recorded video content for marketing, communication and education applications
• Have experience with common video production and post-production processes and tools
• Have excellent written and interpersonal communication skills with a customer service focus
• Be skilled in prioritizing and advancing multiple projects of differing states of completion at any time
• Be comfortable in an ever-changing environment with a fluid schedule
• Enjoy planning high touch, highly visible events for external audiences
• Be comfortable traveling in the United States and Internationally to support our global events strategy
• Be flexible, adaptable, and communicative as details develop, or as issues occur

Compensation

Akamai is committed to fair and equitable compensation practices. The base salary for this position ranges from $52,000 - $108,000/year; a candidate’s salary is determined by various factors including, but not limited to, relevant work experience, skills, certifications and location. The compensation package may also include incentive compensation opportunities in the form of annual bonus or incentives, equity awards and an Employee Stock Purchase Plan (ESPP).
