Financial Crimes Compliance has the primary responsibility for the execution of Coinbase’s Anti-Money Laundering, Combating the Financing of Terrorism, Sanctions, and Anti-Bribery and Corruption Program. Within Financial Crimes, the Governance, Transformation, and Controls (GTC) function is responsible for serving as the primary compliance contact for partnerships with external fiat and third-party vendor partners that provide services to Coinbase.

What you’ll be doing:

• Responsible for maintaining compliance relationships with global financial institutions that provide services to Coinbase;
• Oversee the creation of technologies and processes to facilitate relationships with Coinbase’s financial institution partners;
• Act as the Compliance SME and assist sales and business development teams with Compliance-related questions during RFI processes for new customers;
• Responsible for managing metrics and reporting, including reporting to business and Compliance leadership;
• Strategically guiding the function to scale with the worldwide growth of crypto and Coinbase’s operations;

What we look for in you:

• Experience managing critical external partnerships, including responding to RFIs/requests from third parties about a Compliance program
• Banking Operations experience
• Compliance SME; experience working in AML/Sanctions Compliance program(s)
• Exceptionally strong writing skills

Nice to haves:

• CAMS, CCAS, or other industry designation
• Experience working in crypto

Pay Transparency Notice: Depending on your work location, the target annual salary for this position can range as detailed below. Full time offers from Coinbase also include target bonus + target equity + benefits (including medical, dental, vision and 401(k)).Pay Range: $113,900—$134,000 USD
