Job Description

Our top-of-the-strategy and execution is a critical priority for DAZN. With a vast array of content on our site and platform, as well as extensive free content offering, we aim to transform how we engage and retain our users. Our vision is to open top of the funnel and showcase our free content proposition to all sports fans. We have created a top-of-funnel function to bring and keep users on our platform. By showcasing our VOD and select live content on our platform, we intend to convert traffic into engaged, paying members. This role can be based in Hammersmith, London, or in Vienna, Austria, Madrid, Spain.

As our new VP Marketing - Top of the Funnel, you'll have the opportunity to:

    • Lead the orchestration and coordination across all regions of the development and execution of top-of-funnel marketing strategies, focusing on the successful timely delivery in line with the planned events.
    • Partner with all stakeholders to deploy all available marketing channels to drive customer acquisition.
    • Oversee the creation and curation of compelling on and off platform social media, ensuring it is implemented globally and aligns with the brand voice and engages the target audience.
    • Design and manage multi-channel marketing campaigns to drive traffic, generate leads, and increase brand visibility.
    • Conduct thorough market research to understand the preferences, behaviours, and trends of the target audience, using insights to guide marketing efforts.
    • Partner with regional teams and content creators, designers, and marketing professionals to execute on the strategy.
    • Collaborate with right holders and product, sales, and other departments to ensure cohesive and effective marketing strategies.
    • Establish and monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) to evaluate the success of marketing initiatives. Use data-driven insights to refine strategies and improve ROI.
    • Develop and manage the marketing budget, ensuring efficient allocation of resources to maximize campaign effectiveness and ROI.
    • Stay ahead of industry trends, new technologies, and emerging platforms in sports, streaming, and digital marketing to keep the app’s marketing strategies innovative and competitive.

You'll have:

    • Proven experience in marketing with at least 5 years in a leadership role, preferably within the sports, streaming, or content industry.
    • Strong background in social media and YouTube content creation and editorial management.
    • Demonstrated ability to develop and execute successful top-of-funnel marketing strategies that drive brand awareness and customer acquisition.
    • Proficiency in analysing marketing metrics and KPIs to make data-driven decisions and optimize campaign performance.
    • Experience leading and mentoring a diverse marketing team, fostering a collaborative and innovative work environment.
    • Proven track record of managing integrated marketing campaigns across multiple channels, including social media, email, SEO, and PPC.
    • Ability to conduct market research and understand audience behaviours, preferences, and trends.
    • Experience in developing and managing marketing budgets with a focus on maximizing ROI.
