What We Do

The Webex Contact Center engineering team seeks a Software Engineer to develop and test a broad range of next generation features as part of its Software Development Team.

This is ground floor opportunity to work in the next phase of product growth and convergence in the Cloud Collaboration Space.

If you were to join our team here are some of the things you would do in a typical week:

• Design, code, test and document your features.
• Work in a scrum team, participate in team planning, stand-up meetings, and end of spring demonstrations.
• Help define product, architecture, feature, and test requirements.

Who You Are

You’ll need to have experience in:

Object Oriented Programming and/or Functional programming

Languages as Java and/or Scala and or Python

RESTful APIs and microservices

Scrum/Agile/Dev ops experience.

Work well in the team. When the things go wrong you go and fix them

Write clean, safe, good quality code.

The minimum requirements for the role are:

B.Sc./M.Sc./PhD or equivalents in Computer Science, Information Technology, or other equivalent disciplines.

3+ years of software development experience

Knowledge of code repositories

Strong written & verbal communication skills.

Ability to multi-task and solve complex problems.

Ability to self-motivate with a strong desire to learn, and ability to be flexible.

Consistent record of learning new technologies and features on own initiative.

A real passion for technology and software development.

Excellent mathematical or scientific qualifications, with a flair for applying scientific approach to problem solving.

The following skills would be highly advantageous:

A record of building outstanding Contact Center applications.

Experience working on or knowledge of AI driven application or services - LLM/RAG

Analyzing data in Grafana, InfluxDB and Splunk.
