The Technical Manufacturing Operations Manager is the primary technical interface to the Manufacturing Partner site and is accountable for driving both Operational Perfection (Delivery, Quality, and Cost) and Factory Excellence (capability, efficiency, security and sustainability). This position manages a team of engineers in one or several of the following fields: Test/Software Development, Electrical, Mechanical and Manufacturing to drive product quality in the factory. Position requires strong knowledge on PCBA manufacturing operations and SMT technology roadmap. This leadership position works with the Director of Regional Operations.
What You'll Do
* Accountable for driving manufacturing execution excellence and customer experience through operational performance on delivery, quality, cost and transformation.
* Ensure the EMS Partners sites have the outstanding Quality Management System (QMS) deployed throughout their operation.
* Builds strong organization with leadership bench strength, capabilities for the future, engagement and Cisco culture.
* Leads a team of engineers in one or several of the following disciplines: Test/Software Development, Electrical, Mechanical and Manufacturing.
* Partners with various cross-functional organizations including Product Operations, Supplier Management, Planning, Fulfillment, Technology and Quality to drive business outcomes.
* Drive qualification of SMT lines for next gen PCBA technologies, BGA, edge bonding, large press fit connectors, and process characterizations.
* Supervise operational excellence metrics ETE Yield, timely Delivery, CT2R, NMS budget, etc. and accountable for associated business results.
* Accountable to solve any factory related quality issues and to handle line alert and line stop situation.
* Drive cycle time reduction, test optimizations, and quality improvement to meet and improve cost and product lead time.
* Responsible for all Quality and Technical audit with the EMS partners factories.
* Focus on Supply Chain innovation through process, tools and test reengineering and implementation.
* Support the enablement of new manufacturing nodes from the manufacturing and test perspective.
Who You Are
12+ years of broad Supply Chain Operations experience in manufacturing, process and test development engineering.
3+ years of personnel management experience and/or leadership role in Supply Chain.
Strong knowledge and experience in technical operations and factory management.
Education - Engineering degree in Electrical, Industrial, or Mechanical. Master in Sciences and/or Business a plus.
