IT Software Engineer - Cloud Infrastructure

Job Description

As an IT Software Engineer specializing in Cloud Infrastructure, you will play a pivotal role in developing and maintaining our AWS-based environments. Your expertise will contribute to the management of our data lake and the creation of innovative developer tools. We are looking for a candidate who is not only technically proficient but also a collaborative team player eager to drive improvements across our engineering practices

WHAT YOU'LL DO:

• Architect and implement Infrastructure-as-Code (IaC) to ensure scalable, reliable, and secure AWS cloud environments.
• Manage and optimize our Data Lake, employing services such as AWS Lambda, AWS Glue, Amazon Redshift, and Looker to handle large datasets effectively.
• Develop and enhance tooling that empowers our engineering teams, improving workflow efficiency and promoting a culture of continuous integration and delivery.
• Integrate and maintain seamless connectivity between third-party applications and our core systems using Okta and Workday.

REQUIREMENTS:

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a closely related field.
• A minimum of 2 years’ experience in cloud infrastructure, preferably with AWS, including a solid understanding of cloud services and deployment models.
• Proficiency in scripting and automation, with a strong background in building and maintaining cloud-native applications.
• Experience with modern development practices and tools, including CI/CD, containerization, and configuration management.
• Exceptional analytical and problem-solving skills, with a proactive approach to tackling challenges and delivering solutions.
