About this role Aircall is seeking a Sales Leader for the UK, Ireland & Nordics region as we continue to grow one of our key markets. The Aircall London team is nearly 2 years old and now seeking to accelerate in our Strategic segment, managing mid-market opportunities of 100-1000 employees. You will report directly to our Sales Director for UK, Ireland & Nordics, and will have responsibility for driving revenue and pipeline growth in this segment, as well as refining existing ways of working (or creating new) in order to bring consistency and predictability. You’ll be a core part of the UKI & Nordics Leadership team, helping to drive forward regional strategy and advocating for your team to help accelerate growth. You’ll lead by example as a player / coach by managing your own opportunities, as well as driving best practice across your team of 3 AEs to help them be successful. You’re a strong people manager, passionate about designing and scaling a successful and demanding Sales organisation, and comfortable collaborating with marketing, SDR and partnerships teams to work effectively on driving new pipeline and increasing win rates.
What you'll bring
- 4+ years of experience in sales and / or business development, preferably in the software/technology space
- 1+ year of experience in management or team lead role, preferably in the software/technology space
- Proven track record of success in both closing mid market opportunities as well as in pipeline generation through outbound prospecting
- Experience working with a clear methodology such as SPICED or MEDDPIC
- You’re an extremely clear and direct communicator, you aren’t afraid to ask questions to get to the bottom of things, and you have excellent and engaging verbal and written communication skills
- You love to motivate, develop, inspire, coach, and train a team
- Ability to identify trends and patterns from data and translate data and metrics into actionable business insights for your team and cross-functional teams
- You are able to quickly build trust with your team while holding them accountable to their goals
