Recurly is looking for a detail-oriented, reliable, and creative individual with a willingness to own the employee experience at Recurly’s office in Medellín (El Poblado). This role will be responsible for overall front office activities, ordering supplies, stocking consumables, deliveries and shipping services, and other office management tasks. This role will also partner with the People team to assist with onboarding, candidate experience, etc. The ideal candidate will be comfortable working independently and with a team. They should bring enthusiasm to the office and offer up new ideas.

Job Duties:

    • Plan and execute in-person and virtual company events
    • Support People & Talent team recruiting efforts by coordinating and/or scheduling interviews, preparing space for in-office interviews, and serving as the point of contact for new hires
    • Communicate to employees via email and/or Slack on necessary announcements
    • Coordinate office catering and act as point of contact to vendors
    • Submit monthly finance reports
    • Assist in preparing materials, notes, context, and information as needed
    • Partner with the People Team to own the employee experience. This may include, but is not limited to, vendor management, admin support for new hire paperwork, catering, general office maintenance and management, ordering supplies, managing deliveries and shipping services, and repair requests.
    • Prioritize and manage multiple projects with the ability to context shift quickly.
    • Coordinate event planning, including but not limited to team events, monthly team all hands, larger events, and happy hour style events
    • Applies judgment with a full understanding of the urgency and priorities of the business
    • Manages stakeholders effectively
    • Excellent communication and analytical skills
    • Ability to quickly learn and adopt new technologies and be flexible
    • Comfortable in a growing company environment
    • Knowledgeable in local laws, safety, and other regulations to ensure compliance

Requirements:

    • 5+ years minimum recent work experience within a fast-paced, business environment in a facilities and office management, administrative, or support role.
    • Experience managing priorities and urgent requests as delegated.
    • Proficiency with Google Suite, with the ability to quickly pick up different tools and applications.
    • Experience in organizing company culture events, including Happy Hours, Socials and Volunteer events.
    • Previous start-up experience is a plus!
    • Excels in both written and oral communication
    • Effective interpersonal skills; professional demeanor; able to represent Recurly favorably.
    • Customer focus orientation and the ability to proactively identify employee and visitor needs.
    • Able to work independently; effective time management skills; able to manage multiple tasks concurrently, prioritize effectively, and meet deadlines.
    • Superior critical thinking skills with the ability to research and analyze data from multiple sources.
    • Ability to adapt to changes and remain calm in chaotic or ambiguous situations.
    • Ability to deliver results utilizing the resources available. Has a get-it-done mentality.
    • Able to safeguard information when interacting with the Leadership Team.
    • Bilingual - must be fluent in English and Spanish.
