This assignment posting is for an Agency Worker opportunity with Dotdash Meredith. The Agency Worker is paid by a staffing agency employer. Agency Workers will receive a W2 from the staffing agency reporting their earnings for tax purposes.We are in need of a Senior Product Marketing Manager, Food Utilities to join the effort as we move into the next phase of this highly visible initiative. We are seeking an experienced product marketing professional, one with a passion for storytelling and excellent communication skills, to forge and drive the crucial product marketing programs that will increase awareness, accelerate growth, and drive adoption of these exciting new tools. We build elegant digital tools for home cooks. These food utilities help households organize recipes, plan meals, manage shopping lists, and buy groceries. As with everything we do, our aim is to make them best-in-class. Assignment Details:
  • 40 hours per week
  • 3 month assignment with potential to extend
  • Hourly rate: $70-75/hr
  • Location: New York- NY 225 Liberty | Seattle | Remote
Assignment Responsibilities:
  • Work directly with SVP Product, Food Utilities, and with other senior stakeholders to develop robust cross-channel marketing strategies to drive user acquisition, engagement, and retention.
  • Bolster the overarching product narratives and brand messaging guidelines for the new tools.
  • Orchestrate channel tactics and execute product marketing programs; collaborate with product and design teams to align marketing campaigns with new feature releases and user feedback.
  • Build compelling content and promotional materials that resonate: create marketing content for our food utilities, including web, newsletter, and social media copy; press releases; digital ads; and executive presentations.
  • Help define what kinds of measurement will be required to track engagement, enhance channel activity, and feed optimization loops; analyze campaign performance and refine/enhance strategies based on data-driven insights.
  • Lead cross-functional teams to ensure there is consistent and cohesive brand messaging across all channels.
  • Establish partnerships with in-house editors, influencers, food writers, and cooking experts to maximize our reach.
  • Conduct market research to identify trends and additional opportunities.
  • Tap into and help us promote our burgeoning culture of continuous learning and rapid experimentation.
  • Set a high bar for pace and quality.
Skills/Experience:
  • Over 6 years of experience in product marketing – you are a product marketing veteran, ideally having worked with companies in digital media, customer-focused mobile apps, and/or B2C software.
  • A proven track record – you have crafted imaginative, powerful value propositions and effective visualizations for customers.
  • Strong skills in both writing and speaking – you love language and write great copy, you are an expert visual storyteller, and you are adept at addressing groups (large or small) and comfortable speaking extemporaneously.
  • Superb project management chops – you have a tireless eye for detail and have demonstrated an obsession with staying focused on priorities while making progress manifest and consistently delivering tangible results.
  • Comfort in being a leader – people like working with you, and you know how to get the results you need from the people who are your peers and from senior leadership.
  • Aptitude for context switching and handling ambiguity – you can juggle multiple responsibilities and can adapt to last-minute changes.
  • Moxie and gumption – you are a fearless self-starter who is eager to get involved and do whatever it takes to get the job done well.
