About the Team

The Partner Management team’s mission is to guide our content partners to imagine, develop, and publish best in class video apps and experiences. As the primary point of contact for platform, product, and technical topics, we partner closely with content publishers/streaming services, third-party developers, and cross-functional teams within Roku, including Content Distribution, Partner Growth, Partner Initiatives, Payments, Advertising, Product, Engineering, ad Legal. In addition to facilitating onboarding and managing app launches across the world, we help partners build intuitive experiences that delight customers while ensuring compliance to Roku’s platform and business requirements.

About the Role

The Roku Partner Success team is seeking a passionate and detail-oriented content and applications expert with stellar program management, operational, and communication skills. In this role you will play a pivotal part in maintaining the store's excellence, spearheading the establishment and updating of channel store policies, and devising robust audit processes for policy enforcement. As a visionary, you thrive in crafting processes and policies from the ground up.

Your ability to adeptly gather qualitative and quantitative data from internal systems and stakeholders enables you to develop an informed vision and set achievable goals. Balancing acute attention to detail with a holistic perspective of the entire Roku Channel Store, you contribute to its overarching success.

For California Only - The estimated annual salary for this position is between $75,000 and $144,000 annually.

Compensation packages are based on factors unique to each candidate, including but not limited to skill set, certifications, and specific geographical location.

What you'll be doing

  • Manage the channel store audit program to ensure applications are compliant with platform requirements and delivering a high-quality user experience across regions and categories.
  • Analyze audit results and create compelling presentations for an executive audience to drive awareness, change, and establish policies.
  • Utilize channel store metrics to construct dashboards, facilitating data-driven decision-making for effective enforcement of channel store policies.
  • Manage external communications with content partners and developers to ensure compliance with guidelines, safeguarding Roku's business objectives, and fostering an optimal user experience.
  • Become an expert in channel store operations, identify system improvement areas, and drive optimizations for enhanced monitoring and automation.

We're excited if you have

  • 6+ years of experience in;
  • Developing and managing programs and processes for an app store or similar platform.
  • Drafting and advocating platform policies, effectively communicating to both internal and external stakeholders. Bonus points for experience in creating content tailored for developers or highly technical audiences.
  • Planning and executing audit activities and projects aimed at ensuring a consistent and positive consumer experience.
  • Evaluating content, apps, and content updates across diverse genres with expertise and proficiency.
  • Demonstrated success in fostering partnerships and collaboration with cross-functional teams including business, legal, marketing, editorial, and product development.
  • A genuine passion and curiosity for content and the underlying technologies driving streaming.
  • Exceptional oral and written communication skills.
  • A bachelor’s degree (BA/BS) is preferred, or equivalent work experience.
