We are looking for a Senior Employment Counsel, EMEA and APJ to join the global legal team in EMEA, reporting to the Deputy General Counsel, Commercial Legal in the US. In this role, you will bring leadership and legal expertise to different stakeholders on HR-related matters. You will provide your own creative solutions and strategic thinking globally and take on projects in new areas that you are interested in. You are the ideal candidate if you want to apply a “beginner’s mind” to tackle complex legal problems and scale operations whilst unleashing human potential and driving business transformation. What you’ll do:

• Review, draft, and manage employment agreements, offer letters, severance agreements, employee handbooks, and policies, and support the continuous improvement of standard form agreements and legal processes
• Advise cross-functional stakeholders on legal issues and risks, approval processes, company policies and procedures, and employment strategy as part of talent acquisition, retention, and development, and day-to-day employee relations
• Monitor and ensure compliance with federal, state, and local laws and regulations, as well as internal policies and procedures, related to employment matters
• Respond promptly to legal requests from HR and other clients, summarizing and communicating legal concepts that businesspeople can implement
• Collaborate with and manage outside counsel and manage risks and propose solutions to mitigate risks concerning employment matters, disputes, investigations, and litigation
• Support the continuous improvement of standard form agreements and scale legal operations and processes
• Support other cross-functional strategic initiatives

What you’ll bring:

• Minimum 7 years of in-house and/or top-tier law firm experience in employment law
• Good standing to practice law in the country in which you reside
• Experience in complex domestic and international employment laws regarding hiring, performance management, compensation and benefits, termination, and compliance
• Background in drafting and negotiating employment contracts, policies, and procedures, and handling employee claims and disputes
• Familiarity with network security, and cloud computing is preferred but not required
• JD degree or equivalent degree

• Develop a strong understanding of Infoblox’s products and business model
• Build partnerships with cross-functional leaders
• Focus on providing proactive and practical legal advice and solutions to HR and business clients

After about a year, you will...

• Become an expert on Infoblox’s employment model
• Establish yourself as a trusted partner and advisor to your HR business clients and cross-functional peers
• Help continue to shape company policy and use the legal process to meet our talent and culture goals
