You will contribute towards the creation of qualitative guidelines and providing guidance to test teams on how to accomplish them. You will keep up-to-date in developing areas of game quality, such as game accessibility and user generated content.

The Role:

  • Using guidelines – seek opportunities in software for improved experiential quality and accessibility, across EA games and live services
  • Display passion and knowledge of game quality, such as game accessibility, and be an ambassador on the topic internally
  • Contribute to and help implement EA's game quality strategy with partner teams
  • Maintain strong partnerships with game studios, supporting their development needs and looking for opportunities to continually improve
  • Promote knowledge of accessible design practices

Required Qualifications:

  • 3+ years experience as in Quality Verification, Quality Design, or an equivalent Accessible Game Design role
  • Familiarity with Xbox Accessibility Guidelines (XAG), Xbox Accessibility Feature Tags and PlayStation Accessibility Tags (information is available online)
  • In-depth knowledge of game development practices
  • In-depth knowledge of current, and ability to anticipate future industry standards
  • Onboard and explain applicable accessibility insights to development teams
  • Help to translate player expectations into actions
  • Direct meetings
  • Operate autonomously, requiring little oversight
