Business Systems Analyst. Senior.

Understand systems needs in order to synthesize business intelligence or trend data to support recommendations for action; apply skills in business analysis, requirements gathering, functional testing, and training to implement business processes and practices; understand and document technical nature of business needs; analyze as-is process and desired outcomes in connection with technology projects and best practices to design and propose solutions; develop charters to document objectives including design, phase, and success criteria; write business requirements and collaborate with IT on execution of technical solutions; develop and implement user acceptance testing, documentation, and training for business users. Required Qualification:

Master’s degree or equivalent in Computer Science, Information Technology, Computer Information Science/Systems, Management Information Science/Systems, or Business Administration and 2 years of experience in the job offered or closely related business systems analysis role.

Must Have: At least 1 year of experience in the following skills: documenting test plans in Excel, executing test plans, data warehousing, business intelligence, SQL, SSRS, Cognos, Tableau, Salesforce, ETL code, Aginity, Unix Shell Scripting, and Python.

Compensation:

Akamai is committed to fair and equitable compensation practices. The base salary for this position ranges from $99,091 - $140,803/year; a candidate’s salary is determined by various factors including, but not limited to, relevant work experience, skills, certifications and location. The compensation package may also include incentive compensation opportunities in the form of annual bonus or incentives, equity awards and an Employee Stock Purchase Plan (ESPP).
