JOB SUMMARY: The Oracle EPM Director is a techno-functional role, responsible for solution architecture and technical excellence of EPM suite of products. You will set the vision for the technology strategy, architecture runway and capability expansion for use of planning, budgeting, financial consolidation, reporting etc. The Director will own the EPM systems from a technological point of view as well as jointly lead the complete life cycle of the tool, from business requirements, through executive approval, program execution, and delivery. This position is considered a key member of the Oracle leadership team. GENERAL DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES: •Develop and deliver the Enterprise-wide solution architecture with Oracle EPM. •Build relationships with FP&A business partners to jointly define the roadmap. •Collaborate with other solution architects for ERP, HCM and SCM to define the cross-workstream enterprise-wide architecture including common reporting/warehousing ecosystem. •Understand user requirements related and development related to enterprise-wide Finance consolidation, planning, budgeting, forecasting, and Management reporting and design solutions using Oracle EPM suite and other compatible technologies. •Lead the system design activities and review detailed application module specs, classes, objects, and other software components. •Coordinate and integrate applications, data, and processed to support improvements, implement the scalable architecture and low code platform to stay ahead of the changes. •Lead the implementation of applications for Data flow, metadata governance & maintenance, and rules changes related to components like COA, entities, scenarios etc. •Create advanced calc scripts such as allocations and additional functionality using the EPM cloud applications and Essbase application. •Be the technical expert in Oracle Cloud EPM suite of products like EPBCS, FCCS, EDMCS applications. • Assist with the management and guidance of Oracle service requests as needed. •Interact with the project team members and partners providing status and issue reports to the Project Management Office. •Responsible for managing the development of reports, interfaces, data conversion programs, and application extensions. •Define testing scenarios, develop test scripts along with the business users and business analysts and support users with the execution of test scripts. •Responsible for documenting the business process and solution design. •Educate business stakeholders about the best practices. •Manage the development of end-user documentation and training materials as well as deliver end-user training. •Effectively manage work with multiple stakeholders and manage competing priorities with internal clients. •Establish strong working relationships with both technical and non-technical members of the organization at all levels. EDUCATION REQUIREMENTS: •Bachelor’s degree in computer science or accounting is required. GENERAL KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS & ABILITIES: •15+ years’ experience with business processes and technology in FP&A world, including planning, budgeting, financial consolidation, reporting. •5+ years working with Oracle EPM solutions in a Solution Architect role. •Experience with multiple modules of EPM such as EPBCS, EDMCS, FCCS, ARCS, Profitability and Cost Management, Workforce planning, Tax reporting etc. is required. •Strong accounting knowledge, understanding of accounting principles and platforms. •Functional knowledge of financial statements, budgeting, forecasting, and planning processes is required. •Extensive experience in designing and developing OLAP cubes from conceptual level. •Must have hands-on experience in writing business rules, member formulas etc. •Strong integration experience with Oracle EPM Cloud and Essbase including Data management, SQL queries to pull data and scripting. •Solid understanding of ERP is a Plus. •Experience working for BIG4 is a Plus. •Experience with Workiva is a Plus. •Experience in Retail/Fashion industry with multiple verticals is strongly preferred. •Experience running Oracle EPM projects is strongly preferred. •Experience with Organizational Change Management is strongly preferred. •Strong problem solving, decision making, issue analysis, and resolution skills. •Strong people management skills •Experienced communicating with executives and stakeholders •Experience leading IT initiatives across various methodologies •Passion for leading and implementing change. •Ability to work well in a fast-paced multicultural global work environment. •Must be able to manage time, work under pressure and deliver to tight deadlines. •The ability to work collaboratively across several IT and business functions to gain buy-in to new processes. •Excellent written and verbal communication and interpersonal skills •Ability to motivate teams to produce quality materials within tight timeframes and simultaneously manage several projects.
