Job Description

Spotify is seeking a dynamic, hard-working, strategic candidate to join our Trust & Safety Team in Dublin as Lead, Vendor Management. The Trust & Safety Team is responsible for ensuring that the Spotify platform evolves in a way that is safe & reflective of the Platform Policies. Spotify’s Trust & Safety works with a number of outsource providers, contractors and third party partners in service to this mission. Contracts and services in this space are different, and we’re looking for a leader with proven experience working with partners covering a wide aperture from academic research, to policy and scaled operations.

What You'll Do

    • Responsible for vendor and third party partner strategy for the department
    • Reviews and manages contracts and agreements with a variety of external partners
    • Provides financial estimates and manages the department budget
    • Aggregates requirements put forward by Trust & Safety teams
    • Establishes key performance indicators and measures of effectiveness for service providers and supported initiatives
    • Works closely with internal shared services and financial planning teams
    • Aligns closely to the department rhythm of business
    • Translates contract opportunities and capabilities to supported business units
    • Manages / provides oversight to quality and capacity
    • Provides recommendations to cross-functional leaders to leverage capability and capacity in a dynamic way
    • Incorporate feedback from partners, internal stakeholders and members of the team to drive outcomes

Who You Are

    • B.A. or B.S. degree or equivalent combination of operations and project or program management experience
    • 7+ years vendor management experience
    • Experience working in operations, collaborating with global teams, multinational vendors & BPOs
    • Strong understanding and demonstrated experience in the areas of Continuous Improvement, Operational Excellence
    • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
    • Experience working in customer support, content moderation or working in a Trust & Safety organization
