Fleet Ballistic Missile (FBM) program is seeking a
Project Management & Planning Operations Manager to provide leadership to the Program Planning, Documentation and Integration team at the Strategic Weapons Facility Pacific (SWFPAC) in
Silverdale, WA, by ensuring that high quality planning products and operation analyses are delivered in a timely manner.
Areas of responsibility include:
Program Planning:
• Development and status of production plans and schedules
• Service Life Evaluation (SLE) and Age Management coordination and status
• Utilization of project management tools and methodologies
• Rate and capacity analysis
• Delivering weekly and monthly schedule metrics
Independent assessment of LM-SWFPAC production activities.
Advanced Planning:
• Analysis of long range missile and support equipment requirements
• Risk and opportunity coordination
• SWFPAC Change Directives (SCDs) What-Ifs.
Production Planning:
• Providing quality products required to meet all SWFPAC manufacturing and production processing
• Supporting Demand Management programming requirements, data system requirements development and implementation, problem resolution and processing improvements.
Documentation Control functions and Technical Data Center (TDC) functions :
• Providing change control for technical documentation in support of SWFPAC
• Review and update of local and nonlocal documents
• Support for all audits, inspections and assessments.
Additional duties may be assigned as needed. Travel required in this position is typically 10% or less.
**This position requires an Interim Secret clearance prior to start, with the ability to obtain a Top Secret clearance. U.S. Citizenship required. The successful candidate cannot have dual citizenship.**Basic Qualifications:• Formal leadership experience, directly leading a salaried or represented workforce.
• Experience reviewing and interpreting software-generated plans/schedules (such as Microsoft Project, Primavera, etc.).
• Experience critically assessing organizational performance, developing metrics, and taking corrective action as necessary.
• Experience presenting to internal and external stakeholders.
• US Citizenship is required with the ability to obtain and maintain Top Secret DOD Clearance. No dual citizenship. Interim Secret Clearance required prior to start.
Desired Skills:• Demonstrated leadership experience, skills and behaviors that align with Full Spectrum Leadership (FSL) imperatives.
• Minimum 2 years experience directly leading a salaried or represented workforce.
• Bachelor’s degree in Business or related field from an accredited college, with professional experience in Project Management.
• Experience with Fleet Ballistic Missile Program.
• Excellent communication skills (verbal, presentation and written) leveraged to collaborate and communicate with Senior Leadership, industry peers, customers representatives concerning projects, operational decisions, technical activities, schedules and general overall performance of operations in a production environment.
• In depth knowledge of root cause, corrective action and continuous improvement methodologies.
• Experience in leading special projects.
• Demonstrated problem and conflict resolution skills.
• Demonstrated change management and delegation.
• Active Top Secret Clearance.

Ability to Work Remotely: Onsite Full-time: The work associated with this position will be performed onsite at a designated Lockheed Martin facility.
Work Schedules: Lockheed Martin supports a variety of alternate work schedules that provide additional flexibility to our employees. Schedules range from standard 40 hours over a five day work week while others may be condensed. These condensed schedules provide employees with additional time away from the office and are in addition to our Paid Time off benefits.
Schedule for this Position: 9x80 every other Friday off
Pay Rate:The annual base salary range for this position in Colorado or Washington is $107,400 - $205,900. Please note that the salary information is a general guideline only. Lockheed Martin considers factors such as (but not limited to) scope and responsibilities of the position, candidate's work experience, education/ training, key skills as well as market and business considerations when extending an offer.

(Washington state applicants only) Non-represented full time employees: accrue 10 hours per month of Paid Time Off (PTO); receive 40 hours of Granted PTO annually for incidental absences; receive at least 90 hours for holidays. Represented full time employees accrue 6.67 hours of PTO per month; accrue up to 52 hours of sick leave annually; receive at least 96 hours for holidays. PTO is prorated based on hours worked and start date during the calendar year.
This position is incentive plan eligible.
