We are looking for an engaged, hardworking, and self-motivated Full Stack Engineer to join our team within the Experience Mission at Spotify. The Experience Mission is responsible for all of Spotify’s consumer experiences across our mobile apps as well as platforms like desktop, web, TVs, smart speakers, cars, wearables, and partner application integrations which makes Spotify available wherever our users are. At Spotify, we work together in autonomous teams that take full responsibility for their own part of the ecosystem, including writing code to a high standard, hosting our services in Google Cloud Platform, monitoring our services, measuring quality, and guaranteeing service reliability. Our team’s vision is to be the most convenient and most loved audio service for everyone in the home. We work closely with our partners to offer the best Spotify experience on TVs and Consoles. Our success means that Spotify listeners will never struggle to find the right content for the right moment in their day.

What You'll do

• Design, develop and deploy services, integrations and frameworks with a focus on high availability, low latency, and scalability
• Provide technical support and assistance to internal teams and external partners during integration and deployment phases.
• Collaborate closely with other specialists and become a valued member of an autonomous, multi-functional team
• Take operational responsibility for the services that are owned by your team, potentially including taking part in an on-call rotation
• Work in an environment that supports your individual growth
• Continuously improve our product by innovating on the service through the usage of A/B tests

Who You are

• You have a firm grasp of system design, data structures, and algorithms and know how to apply them when crafting pragmatic solutions.
• Proven experience in software development with expertise in some of the following languages: C, C++, Java, JavaScript and Typescript.
• Strong understanding of hardware systems and the ability to integrate software solutions effectively.
• Experience in developing libraries and integrations for various platforms and frameworks.
• You know and care about sound engineering practices like continuous delivery, defensive programming, and automated testing

Where You'll be

• Where in the world? This role will be located in Amsterdam, Netherlands
• Working hours? We operate within Central European for collaboration and ask that all be located in that time zone.
• This role requires joining the on-call rotation
