We are looking for a thoughtful, well-rounded, experienced iOS engineer to join our team and help build an application that millions of people use every day to discover and listen to music. You will play an important part in our mobile engineering practice, implementing new features, improving performance, and building beautiful user interfaces. Above all, your work will impact the way the world experiences music. Our dedicated cross-functional team operates within a compact framework, with a primary objective of creating a highlight dependable and adaptable platform for the Home feature of our music mobile application. Developers closely collaborate with other team members, including developers of other teams to construct a comprehensive solution that empowers our teams to test and develop on the Home feature in an isolated and efficient environment. This approach enables us to iterate quickly and scale effectively. Taking ownership of the entire development cycle for this platform, our team is involved in every stage from ideation and implementation to testing and shipping.

What You'll Do

• Collaborate within our autonomous team of Android, iOS and Backend engineers, product managers and our engineering managers to find end-to-end solutions to important problems.
• Write clear, maintainable code that will scale across a number of projects and distributed development teams.
• As a member of our team, you will actively contribute to the planning, design and development of new features for our platform, following an agile methodology. Your primary area of expertise will revolve around software development using Swift.

Who You Are

• Deep understanding and experience of modern iOS development and best practices.
• You derive inspiration from delivering top-notch products and assisting others in upholding exceptional standards, comprehending the essence of the agile principles, and utilizing them to provide incremental value.
• You know how to write readable, idiomatic and maintainable Swift and are willing to follow already defined coding guidelines and workflows.
• You have a deep understanding of Cocoa design patterns and API design.
• Experience in Backend or C++ is considered a plus.

• You have released at least one app on the App Store or have a project in the works that you can tell us about.
