This position is for a Systems Design & Installation Engineer for an Advanced Development Programs (ADP) effort in Marietta, Georgia. In this role, you will:
- Design the installation of aircraft Mechanical Systems including but not limited to Hydraulics and Pneumatics Subsystems routing, Environmental Control Systems (ECS), fuel line routing, Escape System Subcomponent, etc.
- Conduct trade studies and evaluate alternatives - optimizing form, fit, and function of the mechanical systems installations
- Define, develop, and finalize mechanical layouts and systems interfaces
- Create Build-to-Packages for detailed parts, assemblies and installations
- Design the installation of aircraft Equipment and Crew Station hardware of Line Replacement Units (LRUs), Control Panels, other cockpit systems (displays, radios, etc.) and their supporting hardware
The successful candidate will have experience with CATIA, SolidWorks, or other CAD applications. Must be a US Citizen. This position is located at a facility that requires special access. Selected applicant must have a secret security clearance to start.

- Experience with CATIA, SolidWorks, or other CAD applications

Desired Skills:- Experience with metallic design
- Experience with hand analysis for initial part layout
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Ability to work in a collaborative and team-based environment

Ability to Work Remotely: Onsite Full-time: The work associated with this position will be performed onsite at a designated Lockheed Martin facility.
Work Schedules: Lockheed Martin supports a variety of alternate work schedules that provide additional flexibility to our employees. Schedules range from standard 40 hours over a five day work week while others may be condensed. These condensed schedules provide employees with additional time away from the office and are in addition to our Paid Time off benefits.
Schedule for this Position: 4x10 hour day, 3 days off per week
