Position Overview:

Siemens Smart Infrastructures (SI) and Digital Industries (DI) is looking for a Pricing Analyst to join our Strategic Pricing Organization. In this job you would be a key player working closely with the Regional Sales Team, Product Management, and Finance Stakeholders to optimize profit, drive sales growth, and increase Siemens market share, while at the same time, improving pricing accuracy across Siemens Industry, Inc. Responsibilities:

  • Reviewing, monitoring, and maintaining price agreements associated with rebates and upfront pricing agreements.
  • Ensuring pricing approval on project quotes and special pricing agreements follows LOA guidance as defined by business stakeholders.
  • Work in a team environment to drive improvement in pricing processes through tools/systems, automation, and standardization
  • Margin growth analysis and identifies negative margins
  • Monitors compliance with pricing policies and strategies and recommends options for business team leaders to consider.
  • Work with large volumes of data from multiple systems. Strong ability to develop key insights and to communicate findings to product managers, sales, and management.
  • Partner cross-functionally to drive process improvements, automation, and team development. Be an instrumental change agent in creating a world-class pricing organization with focus on commercial excellence.

Qualifications:

  • Strong analytical and qualitative skills with ability to analyze, filter, and organize data to present different scenarios and recommendations.
  • Ability to coordinate and organize information from various internal and external sources to support research, development, and execution of projects on time.
  • Demonstrates and applies a broad knowledge of field of specialization through successful completion of moderately complex assignments.
  • Adaptable and flexible to change. Positively responds to changes in direction, unexpected circumstances, and ambiguous situations.
  • Excellent communication skills with the ability to communicate complex topics in an easy-to-understand manner.
  • Solid process mindset with ability to drive to solutions.
  • Ability to work in a dynamic and flexible environment.

Preferred Knowledge/Skills, Education, and Experience:

  • BS/BA in related discipline, or advanced degree, where required, or equivalent combination of education and experience. Advanced degree may be considered for experience, where applicable.
  • 2-5 years of relevant experience in process improvement, pricing, sales, or marketing of Construction / Industrial products.
  • Demonstrates and applies a broad knowledge of field of specialization through successful completion of moderately complex assignments.
  • Experience with Tableau, SAP, COMPAS GO is a plus
  • Proficient with Microsoft Office 365
