Description:Perform a wide variety of assigned material
handling duties to load, unload, and transport
heavy material mainly between Sterling and Herndon but also in the WMA area while operating various types of vehicles. Deliver and pick up material internally and externally. Verify material being transported with proper paperwork and/or bill of lading. Operate forklift, and 20 Foot truck. Insure vehicles are properly loaded to avoid shifting/damage of material and comply with all Federal, State, and Company regulations. Keep work area clean and Keep vehicle in safe, clean, and orderly appearance and report any accidents or mechanical defects to supervision. Comply with all Federal, State, and Company
regulations. Maintain DOT required daily logs and daily vehicle inspections along with necessary physical for purposes of driving current 20 foot box truck.
Basic Qualifications:• High school degree or equivalent specialized training in specific aspects of job functions and/or demonstrated ability to perform assigned tasks
• One to three years of related experience
• Able to obtain and maintain DOT Physical / Certification
• Must have the ability to drive automatic 20 Foot Box Truck
• Material handling equipment operation and Forklift experience
• Ability to obtain and maintain TS/SCI clearance
• Ability to lift up to 50lbs consistently
• Ability to stand, bend, twist, and climb a ladder or forklift throughout a complete shift
• Adhering to all personnel and equipment safety policies and procedures
• Familiarity with Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, and Outlook)

Ability to Work Remotely: Onsite Full-time: The work associated with this position will be performed onsite at a designated Lockheed Martin facility.
Work Schedules: Lockheed Martin supports a variety of alternate work schedules that provide additional flexibility to our employees. Schedules range from standard 40 hours over a five day work week while others may be condensed. These condensed schedules provide employees with additional time away from the office and are in addition to our Paid Time off benefits.
Schedule for this Position: 9x80 every other Friday off
