We are searching for an experienced Partner Development Account Manager for UAE based in our Dubai office.

The ideal candidate will have proven experience of building and running a complex enterprise business with and through partners. You will be highly skilled at translating strategic objectives into a clearly defined, executable business plan. This is a highly visible role and you should have proven software Channel credibility and recognition. You will have relationships up to C-level and will already have been successful at building a business within major partners in the region.

Your responsibilities will include expanding relationships within existing partners as well as recruiting and developing new ones. You will establish and execute sales plans and go-to-market strategies to grow revenue in accordance with quota targets. The position will require lot of travel as you will provide training and support to our partners, making joint sales calls and closing deals.

Responsibilities: I want to and can do that!

  • Working closely with reseller channel partners and the Middle East sales teams, you will be promoting cooperative selling to enterprise accounts.
  • Creating strategic relationships with senior decision makers within our key partners and ensure they are aligned to Splunk management.
  • Identifying and recruiting new partners specialised on specific domains
  • Meeting and exceeding set sales quotas while adhering to Splunk’s sales rules of engagement.
  • Manage and be the main point of contact for partners.
  • Enthusiastically work towards maximising partner total sales potential through best practices, training and support.
  • Creating systems and procedures to streamline partner management.
  • Working with marketing to drive programs and events to extend the relationships to new prospects.
  • Continually learning about new products and improving selling skills.
  • Providing weekly reporting of pipeline and forecasts using the SalesForce automation tool.
  • You will stay ahead of competition, market issues and products.
  • Attending and participating in sales meetings, product seminars and trade shows.
  • Prepare written presentations, reports, and price quotations.
  • Develop Management Objective Plans with all partners, align goals and objectives consistent with corporate strategy. .
  • Map Splunk partner organisation to Splunk corporate organisation, ensuring free cooperation and communication.

Requirements: I’ve already done that or have that

  • Minimum experience of 10 years in Channel and Distribution, having been in a channel management position.
  • Actively managed partners in UAE.
  • You will have a proven track record in channel and direct selling experience selling IT infrastructure solutions to medium and large Enterprise businesses.
  • You will have a track record of success and knowledge with Enterprise VARs and Systems Integrators in the defined territory.
  • Acting as a Splunk Ambassador you will have as trong executive presence, polish and exceptional communication skills.
  • Extraordinary management, interpersonal, written and presentation skills are key for your success.
  • You will thrives in working in a fast-paced, high growth, rapidly changing environment
  • Able to work independently and remotely from other members of your team and corporate
  • Relevant software industry experience in IT systems, enterprise or infrastructure management
  • Significant Field Channel Sales and Strategic Partnership development.
  • Creation and execution of partner plans and programs.
  • Proven track record of consistently meeting or exceeding assigned goals and targets.
  • Bachelor's degree in related field, or equivalent experience
