The Financial Analyst will assist with calculating and forecasting program details to meet critical deadlines and financial obligations/goals established for new account opportunities, as well as timelines required to meet existing accounts. The Financial Analyst is responsible for all financial activities of assigned strategic accounts and company initiatives; responsible for developing, implementing and maintaining a profitable financial program by presenting performance/evaluation measures to Senior Management. The Financial Analyst will work closely with the Sales Team and other internal support teams for the achievement of revenue generation, inventory turnover improvement and long-term account goals in line with company vision and values. ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS: × Maintain and develop various financial models and standard templates distributed for use by all Finance teammates during planning processes, ensuring quality, accuracy and focused analytic review. × Assist in performing financial analysis of product line performance on a macro and micro basis both internally and externally, making recommendations as needed. × Calculate and assess financial growth opportunities by partnering with Sales across strategic customer accounts. × Improve inventory turnover & valuation by having just-in-time inventory available for both WinCraft and external customers. × Research, communicate and resolve financial issues critical to servicing internal and external personnel in a timely manner. × Assist with business processes and working directly with the Finance and Business Managers. × Identify sales and market trends in advance to help build proposals that allow for improvement of bottom-line profit margins. × Work directly with teammates to properly forecast upcoming programs on an as-needed basis; proper monitoring and updating of these forecasts in a timely manner is essential to WinCraft’s success regarding customer satisfaction, inventory turnover and bottom line profits. × Understand the integration of business processes, people and relevant technology in order to identify, configure and communicate useful information. × Provide practical business leadership to drive business decision making across the company. × Identify non-value-added processes within assigned departments and seek solutions and improvements. × Other data analytics projects on an as needed basis to support other departments. × Adheres to all Department and Company Standards, Operating Procedures and Safety Requirements. × Treats others with respect and conducts themselves in a positive and inclusive manner daily. × Performs other duties as assigned. EDUCATIONAL & Experience REQUIREMENTS: × A Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Economics or similar field of study. CPA/MBA preferred. × One to two years of professional experience with financial analytics, forecasting model and accounting background. GENERAL KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS & ABILITIES: × Must have strong analytical skills, both quantitative and qualitative, including building models, data mining and on-line market research. × Must have advanced knowledge of Excel, including PivotTables. × Independent worker and analytical thinker with ability to conduct research, data analysis and resolve complex problems. × Professional approach to financial analysis in an organized and positive manner. GENERAL KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS & ABILITIES CONTINUED: × Ability to multi-task and work in a challenging fast-paced environment. × Strong financial analysis foundation creating forecasts and models. × Excellent verbal and written communication skills. × Knowledge of procedural controls and data validation techniques required. × Strong ability to interact with Senior Management.
