In this role, you’ll be business partnering our Operations and wider Finance function to ensure accurate financial reporting for the division and produce monthly KPI’s for consumption by senior management. As our new Junior Finance Analyst, you’ll have the opportunity to:

    • Have responsibility for the financial reporting across Operations/Tech areas of the business primarily focused on budgeting, forecasting and performance analysis
    • Have responsibility for month-end reporting and performance analysis while providing commentary on key trends & variances to plan
    • Support the relevant ‘heads-of’ in costing up business cases with a view to operational efficiency
    • Developing, reporting and constantly improving the accuracy of KPI’s to monitor department performance
    • Reporting the monthly results of the department to the budget holder and their direct reports
    • Prepare a monthly P&L roll up for Senior Management in both Finance & stakeholder departments
    • Develop headcount forecast across all global offices
    • Business partnering key departmental stakeholders ensuring cost efficiency from all areas
    • Reviewing the monthly actuals prepared by the Finance shared service centre
    • Responsible for approving Purchase Requisitions, ensuring they are in line with budgets/forecasts
    • Working with the wider finance teams across various locations on multiple ad-hoc projects

You’ll be set up for success if you have:

    • Degree Qualified (ideally Accounting, Economics, Business, Maths)
    • Confident and clear communicator; both verbally and written
    • High attention to detail
    • Strong Excel skills
    • Confident in communicating new ideas to improve processes
    • Logical and analytic approach to solving problems
    • Ability to prioritise, work efficiently and productively, and manage your time well

Even better if you have:

    • Commercial awareness or business acumen
    • Ability to interpret financials into meaningful insight
    • Experience of manging multiple stakeholders
