What will you be doing?

Are you looking for a role with high levels of accountability to drive business growth and profitability? Funding Circle is looking for a top-performing, passionate and energetic individual to help grow the US Lending as a Service (LaaS) business.

LaaS is a new business unit, accountable for driving SMB lending through bank partnerships, who outsource their SMB lending using Funding Circle’s origination platform.

The LaaS Account Executive is an enterprise sales role to develop, onboard, and scale a bench of financial services customers.

  • Convert financial institution prospects to customers through strategic value-based selling, stakeholder mapping, business case definition, and data analysis
  • Deliver quarterly revenue goals while maintaining a pipeline to deliver future partnerships
  • Lead the complex sales-cycle, end to end
  • Proactively build a book of leads from outbounding, contacts, conferences, speaking engagements, etc,.
  • Develop SDR-generated leads
  • Own the bank partner onboarding process and experience, from term sheet to contract
  • Convince C-level executives and internal owners the value of our product
  • Forecast sales activity and revenue achievement, while satisfying customers
  • Develop and maintain relationships with key stakeholders and counterparts at partner organizations
  • Build an account plan for each partner and motivate the team to deliver it in an aligned way (Customer Success, SDRs, Legal, Product, Engineering, etc)
  • Responsible for ensuring a constant focus on the customer internally
  • Take the initiative to help develop and build our team and strategy by creating new processes and challenging existing ones

Are you?

  • Track record of selling to enterprise businesses, ideally financial services customers
  • Track record of revenue achievement
  • Proven sales forecasting abilities
  • A background in inbound and outbound prospecting and closing of new business
  • Credibility selling at C-level
  • An understanding of the complex sales cycle, including demonstrated:
    • Ability to influence decision-making in large organizations
    • A deep understanding of a product and value drives to close deals
    • Strong project management skills - staying organized while managing several partners and initiatives simultaneously
    • Nose for value - constantly seeking out opportunities to drive growth in our current partners
    • Analytical orientation - the success of the role is largely dependent on a metrics-driven approach
  • Team player mindset
  • Ability to set deadlines and hold both yourself and stakeholders (internal and external) accountable to them

*Depending on location and experience* Base Salary range of $90,000 to $110,000 + commission plan up to 100% of base + benefits
