The Role Veeva Consumer Products (CP) is seeking a Senior Project Manager to join our growing Professional Services team in Europe. The ideal candidate will have experience in enterprise project/program management for document/data-driven software solutions, ideally with a Quality/Regulatory focus, within the industries of Consumer Packaged Goods, Food & Beverage, Chemicals, or Cosmetics. As a Senior Project Manager, you’ll leverage your existing background in enterprise software implementation, project/program management, and consulting; we’ll teach you our products and help you expand your skill set. You will lead and navigate our project teams through large enterprise implementations of our Veeva Vault QualityOne and RegulatoryOne solutions, contributing firsthand towards transforming the way our customers collect, maintain, and distribute business critical Quality and Regulatory processes and documentation. You will be a customer advocate, encouraged to share your ideas and to work with other Veeva colleagues/teams to innovate and refine our internal processes and enhance our delivery model to meet the ever-changing needs of our customers and their industries. You will ensure customer success today and long into the future. Opportunities are available across EU/UK for this role; this is a remote position. There is no work location requirement, if a candidate is in close proximity to an airport and able to meet travel requirements. Qualified EU or UK-based candidates are encouraged to apply.

What You'll Do

    • Lead Veeva project teams on large enterprise implementation projects for our Consumer Products (CP) customers
    • Manage and coordinate project teams in support of content/data management solution design, prototyping, configuration, and documentation
    • Architect multi-year and multi-phased implementation programs to deploy Vault solutions across an organization globally
    • Program and project management including resource planning, leading and motivating a cross-functional team, and project tracking and forecasting
    • Primary customer liaison responsible for managing relationships and communication between the project team, customer, and internal stakeholders
    • Represent the CP Professional Services team across multiple engagements and workstreams
    • Mentor project team members and junior consultants across the global Professional Services organization
    • Ensure customer success from the beginning to the end of the engagement
    • Continue to expand and develop industry knowledge to enhance our delivery model to meet the changing business needs of Veeva and our customers
    • Provide insight and recommendations to improve our technology and work closely with our Product team to ensure the best solutions for our customers

Requirements

    • 5+ years of experience in enterprise software implementations, preferably with at least one of the following: Document Management Systems (e.g. Documentum, OpenText, SharePoint); Regulatory/Registration Data Tracking Systems; Quality Management Systems (e.g. TrackWise, MasterControl)
    • Experience in leading large enterprise-sized implementations
    • Experience in assembling, planning, resourcing, budgeting, and leading project teams
    • Experience in designing and executing effective project governance models for large enterprises
    • Proven track record with project management processes including change control, risk, issue, and conflict resolution
    • Proven ability to manage diverse customers and/or stakeholders, and ensure project delivery to a high degree of satisfaction
    • Experience in reporting to senior/executive-level stakeholders
    • Must be familiar with project metrics reporting and dashboards
    • Experience in project management tools such as MS Project and Smartsheet
    • Self-starter and motivated individual with the ability to work independently in a dynamic environment
    • Ability to quickly understand customer requirements and create corresponding solution designs
    • Understanding of compliance and computer systems validation requirements
    • 4-year Degree or equivalent work experience required
    • Flexibility to travel
    • Fluent in English

    • Consulting experience, working with a major system integrator or software vendor
    • Experience working within the Consumer Products, Food & Beverage, Chemicals, or Cosmetics industries
    • PMP certification
    • Execution experience with Agile methodology
    • ACP Certification or Scrum Master Certification
    • Portfolio management experience
    • Experience in contract negotiation and/or procurement
    • SaaS/Cloud delivery experience
    • Document/data migration experience
    • Additional language(s)
