Ubisoft Bordeaux
Founded in September 2017, Ubisoft Bordeaux works with passion on the biggest AAAA’s game in order to offer the best gaming experiences to our players. Today, the studio has more than 400 talents, from 15 different nationalities, who work on licenses such as Assassin's Creed, Beyond Good & Evil 2, plus other unannounced free-to-play games. We are also working on exciting technologies with the Anvil team, Online services teams and with La Forge who seek to validate the value of technological innovations.
The Ubisoft Bordeaux studio is looking for a Technical Animator Assistant (F/M/NB) to join the production team of its latest opus, Assassin's Creed Mirage.
You will be responsible for the following tasks within the Animation team:
Work closely with the animation team to help define, create, and maintain animation pipelines.
Provide support to the animation team on animation integration, creating and updating state machines and blend trees (blueprints)
Help on writing documentation about techincal working processes
Interact with the other departments to improve the animation systems in order to get the best possible animations while respecting the technical constraints
You're someone creative with a strong interest in the technical animation OR You have a technical profile with a strong interest for the creative aspect of animation
Good technical knowledge of the main 3D softwares – MotionBuilder is a plus
Good capacity to communicate verbally as well as written (both french and english)
Be adaptable, approachable and positive in the workplace
Knowledge of Python and C# (be able to read and understand source code)
A passion for Videogame development
