Tax Manager, International Tax Shared Services

Job Description

KPMG is currently seeking a Senior Associate to join our Business Tax Services practice.

Responsibilities:

• Perform tax-related tasks involving tax compliance to a variety of clients including partnerships and corporations
• Participate in tax compliance and provision assistance engagements, identification and analysis of tax technical issues and interaction with additional service lines, including State and Local Tax and International Tax for multinational and domestic companies in a wide variety of industries
• Utilize new technologies and tools used in client service delivery and participate in technology or process development initiatives, including bot deployment and use of Alteryx and other data enablement tools
• Ability to handle multiple engagements, manage teams, review work prepared and provide direction to assistants on engagement work performed
• Work as part of a multi-disciplinary team and be responsible for delivering high quality tax compliance service
• Keep up to date on current tax practices

Qualifications:

• Minimum five years of recent tax compliance experience in an accounting firm, corporation and/or law firm
• Bachelor's degree, CPA, Enrolled Agent, J.D., LL.M. in taxation and/or Master's in Taxation (MST) from an accredited college/university
• Must have or be pursuing the state-specific education requirements to be a licensed Certified Public Accountant (CPA) in the principle place of business for this position, with completion of such educational requirements prior to the start date for this position
• Demonstrated quality service mindset, strong technical aptitude, critical thinking skills and ability to navigate MS Office applications, including Excel, PowerPoint, Word and Outlook
• Excellent communication and time management skills; flexible and adaptable team player; resourceful in delivering high quality work
