Job Description

CONTEXT OF THE JOB

As part of the Operational Performance team, you will work with fellow data analysts, data scientists, market researchers and stakeholders to analyse business performance and drive revenue growth.

Data analysts at Deezer have a key role to elevate data culture and to make sure any strategic decision is based on the right data-driven insights:

• They identify problems and implement solutions based on data that will fuel Deezer’s growth
• They shape data-informed business and product strategies
• They communicate results and influence key business and product leaders
• They keep an open and growth mindset in order to continuously develop new methodologies, analytical skills and business acumen

WHAT YOU WILL YOU DO

• Work closely with business, partnership, and finance teams to grow the business and improve profitability
• Conduct data-driven analyses and develop insightful presentations to facilitate decision-making for stakeholders across the business
• Design, build and maintain data visualisations and dashboards to make data accessible and easily understandable
• Provide stakeholders with the right tools to assess the impact of their actions
• Build your own data pipelines: from the logs to the final dataset using Python and SQL
• Help optimise operations and ensure workflows and business processes are as efficient as possible
• Collaborate closely with other members of the Analytics teams

Qualifications

This role is excellent for a person with:

• ​​​​​​3 years of experience in a similar or other relevant position - experience in business performance / analytics is a strong plus
• Proficient in SQL or equivalent and at least one data visualisation tool (e.g.: Tableau)
• Tenacious, curious & rigorous: eager to learn and being ready to tackle complex problems with insights and analyses
• An analytical & business-oriented mindset
• Excellent presentation skills
• Ability to own and drive projects with a creative mindset
• Fluent in English
