So what does it take to spot an enemy missile launch, identify its intended target, calculate its exact trajectory, launch an interceptor and guide it to destroy the threat in mid-air? It’s not easy – but we help customers solve the world’s most complex challenges.
Ours is a critical mission, where you will be part of an engineering team that is going through requirements derivation, reviews, engineering release (Specifications, ICDs, Schematics, Engineering Drawings, P/Ls, Procedures, etc), development & qualification, requirement, production, data review, troubleshooting, issue resolution, integration, and performance validation. This work will be done at the module and subsystem, hardware (Unit/Assembly) level.
Join a fast paced dynamic team engaged in designing the Missile test and checkout equipment for the Next Gen Interceptor (NGI) Program.
In this position, you will:
Lead, research, design, and develop test equipment / systems for a variety of electronic equipment and systems, including:
• RF
• Telemetry
• Electro-Optical
• Radiation Detection Equipment
• Radio and other communications equipment and systems
• Circuitry components
• Analog and digital computers
• Control and test equipment
You will lead the design of electronic hardware, including signal conditioning equipment and interface with COTS instrumentation for Hardware In The Loop (HWIL), system production tests, system validation and system level field test.
WE ARE LOOKING FOR YOU TO HAVE:
• Experience developing/designing card/box level STE.
• Experience performing HW/SW integration of card/box level STE.
• Experience with cable and electronic system board design and troubleshooting.
• Automated Test System Hardware / Software design and integration experience.
• Provide technical leadership to cross functional teams including Electronics & Mechanical Hardware, Software and Systems engineers.
YOU WILL TYPICALLY HAVE:
• 14 - 20+ years of professional experience for this role.
• You need to have an active DoD
Secret clearance or greater to be considered for this position. Thus
US Citizenship is required.

Basic Qualifications:• Bachelors degree from an accredited college in a related discipline, or equivalent experience/combined education. Considered an emerging authority.
• Significant Automated Test Station and or Hardware-in-a-Loop (HWIL) System Design experience required.
• Active DoD
Secret clearance or greater to be considered for this position. Thus
US Citizenship is required.
Desired Skills:• Demonstrated System Design and Versatility.
• Test System and Test Safety Requirements Development
• Experience designing portable test equipment to support EMI / E3 field testing.
• Formal Software Development and testing experience.
• RF Test Methodology Design, Integration and Test experience.
• Designing automated tests and test equipment using LXI instruments, cRIO, PXIe, Oscilloscopes, Serial Communications, SpaceWire Communications, Spectrum Analyzers, Power Meters, Counters, etc.
• LabVIEW Windows, LabVIEWReal-Time and LabVIEW FPGA Development highly desired.
