Learning & Development Specialist

Job Description

The London-based Learning Specialist role supports our growth strategy through the implementation of programs for new starters as well as on-going development for all Mintel employees.

The ideal candidate has proven project management experience, takes a collaborative approach to solving problems and embraces a fast-paced working environment.

You will report to the Regional Learning & Development Manager, EMEA and work closely with the Global L&D Team and Regional HR team. The expectation is that you will be in the London office a minimum of 2 days per week.

What You Will Be Doing:

• Develop and manage project plans and schedules associated with our talent management programmes
• Analyse data to measure success and identify opportunities related to key L&D metrics
• Facilitate key elements of our onboarding program
• Oversee our Learning Management System
• Manage existing L&D vendor relationships
• Administer programme elements to include the creation and delivery of reports, communications, learning materials and other supporting resources

A Successful Candidate Will Have:

• 3 - 5 years professional experience in a Learning & Development or Human Resources related role
• Strong presentation and communication skills (both written and verbal)
• Demonstrated project management and change management experience
• The ability to deduce insights from data through comprehensive analysis
• A dedication to organisation and attention to detail while balancing multiple demands and competing priorities.
• A passion for building and maintaining effective working relationships at all levels, promoting trust and a partnership approach
• Experience working in global companies - an advantage
