VP of Product, Video Creation & Editing

Job Description

Vimeo is looking for a strong product leader to bring video creation into large organizations. This is a key leadership role within Vimeo, reporting to our SVP of Product, and will have a major influence on our strategic direction and vision as well as Vimeo’s video creation and editing platform. This is a rare opportunity to help shape the future of video creation and editing for organizations.

What you will do:

• Oversee product strategy and development for Vimeo’s creation and editing platform for organizations
• Champion video creation and editing across Vimeo, conduct user research and collaborate with product marketing, sales, success and support teams to learn about organizations’ needs and outline product solutions
• Lead a team of product managers
• Set the product roadmap according to the business KPI/OKRs
• Partner closely with UX design and engineering teams to prioritize, plan, and track development; lead rollout of new functionality to users in partnership with engineering and product marketing
• Collaborate with other product leaders across Vimeo to create a unified product strategy and consistent user journeys
• Communicate effectively the product vision, roadmap, successes and progress made to the rest of the company

Must have:

• 10+ years proven ability leading product management with a passion for people leadership rooted in helping your team do their best work, hiring, and performance coaching
• Leadership qualities, able to inspire and lead teams and individuals
• A love for great UX and a keen eye for detail
• Outstanding ability to tell stories and communicate product value
• Experience working on large-scale B2C or B2B2C products
• History of getting things done that require cross-functional collaboration and alignment
• Expertise in making product decisions using data analytics and understanding product usage patterns
• Experience building products from scratch and taking them to market at scale
• Data-driven decision maker with significant experience running A/B tests
• Ability to communicate effectively with global and distributed teams
• Experience working with engineers, designers, product marketers data analysts
• Comprehensive knowledge of agile product development methods and processes
• Perfect English skills

Nice to have:

• Experience with video platforms and other content authoring applications
