Primary Function
Provides high quality services, support and training to global HR Technologies customers. This position serves as the primary point of contact for internal and external customers and is responsible for issue and request impact and root cause analysis, system monitoring, problem solving and maintenance of supported applications. Serves as a liaison between customers, Centers of Expertise and System Support teams.
Essential Function
Manages a large volume of user requests received via the case management system. Provides support to all Global customers by responding to “how to” questions, special requests, issue research/resolution and required activities related to processes such as Oracle HRMS, Payroll, Eaton University, Taleo, E-star and APEX. These requests are often unique in nature and require quick analysis to determine cause and proper resolution of these critical processes.
B. Provides guidance and training to customers (individual and group) as needed to ensure a good understanding of HR applications and tools to meet job requirements.
C. Executes the activities related to data integration and training of new customers. This includes data gathering, loading, confirmation, post-clean up as needed, customer training and ongoing support.
D. Develops and maintains internal team documentation related to assigned supported processes for use as reference to existing and newly assigned support staff.
E. Monitors assigned cases to identify trends and root causes and reports to manager and system support teams. Consults with customers on repeat issues and areas of concern to ensure their understanding and for us to take appropriate action to recommend improvements to reduce/eliminate future occurrences.
F.Contributes information for timely customer communications to keep them informed of HR Technology related topics such as system enhancements/upgrades, processing “tips”, upcoming events, etc.
G. Manage the planning and execution of special projects as assigned.
QualificationsSPECIALIZED KNOWLEDGE:
Graduate and above with 3+ yrs of exp in HR Technology.
Strong analytical skills for completing complex problem solving and analysis of business processes and systems.
Thorough knowledge and understanding of HR Technology applications, how these applications and systems are developed and maintained, as well as how they interface with other systems.
Ability to coordinate/prioritize multiple, often complex, tasks in order to ensure continued effectiveness in meeting the company’s recordkeeping, reporting and compliance needs.
Experience interfacing with all levels of HR and IT professionals and business customers. Must be able to communicate effectively with functional, business and technical stakeholders.
Excellent communication skills (oral and written), including clear and comprehensible assistance to customers and other team members and detailed process documentation.
Ability to communicate customer issues/requirements to technical personnel and convey technical information to customers in an easily understandable fashion.
Knowledge of reporting tools such as OBIEE
Excellent interpersonal relationship building and team work skills which are especially critical to our global team environment
Proactive about identifying problems and continuous improvement with focus on data integrity
Demonstrated ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines
Language proficiency in regions where required to support customer population
