About the Role / Team

At Drift, we love telling stories. Stories people actually want to read, watch, and listen to.

That’s why we leave corporate-speak and marketing jargon to the competition – and write like we talk. No frills and no googling complex business terms required.

During this internship, we’ll teach you how to turn boring B2B writing into binge-worthy content. You’ll not only support our marketing campaigns, but get hands-on experience writing, editing, and managing the content that we produce. Plus, you’ll get to learn from a team of content leaders, writers, editors, and designers at a rapidly growing software company.

This role will be remote, but candidates must be available on East Coast time.

What You’ll Do as a Content Marketing Intern:

  • Help create blog posts, long form offers, webinar decks, podcast episodes, and more
  • Copyedit and review upcoming content to ensure it follows the Drift voice and our editorial standards
  • Support our campaigns by writing and editing emails, landing pages, and event content
  • Dig into data to support our original research and upcoming content (no math skills required, we promise)
  • Get certified in Conversational Marketing and Sales to build confidence in our methodology, product, and mission
  • Learn how to work on a fast-paced content marketing team

Internship Requirements / What We Expect From You:

  • You’re pursuing a bachelor’s degree, preferably in business, marketing, or a related field
  • You’re a strong writer and a great copyeditor (and have a portfolio of work you’re proud to share)
  • You’re passionate about good grammar and the beauty of the Oxford comma
  • You’re an active and attentive listener
  • You’re curious about learning new things and confident to share what you know with others
  • You’re fast and have the ability to work quickly and ship daily
  • You practice extreme ownership and continuously strive for improvement

Drift is committed to being an equal opportunity employer.
