The Splunk Global Partner Onboarding team is on a mission to inspire, inform and enable Splunkers worldwide! We are searching for a highly motivated individual ready to support Partner Onboarding at Splunk. This person will act as a high energy, innovative, collaborative relationship builder, experience visionary, and business partner, working across organizations both within and outside the Global Partner organization.

Reporting to Splunk’s Sr. Manager of Partner Strategy & Operations in the Global Partner Organization, this role is global in scope and ideal for an experienced Business Analyst who thrives in a high-growth, fast-moving and highly collaborative, matrixed environment and who is committed to delivering engaging, agile, scaleable and most importantly, impactful learning experiences. This individual works with a spirit of positive “can do” energy, flexibility, attention to detail and proactiveness. While this role does not require actual training delivery, applicants should be natural facilitators and collaborators who are comfortable hosting events and managing a virtual classroom when needed.

This Partner Onboarding role is a hands-on, global role that will liaise closely with Global Partner leadership, Sales Operations, IT Services, GTM and cross-functional partners with the goal of driving time to productivity for our partners which ultimately impacts customer satisfaction and success.

Responsibilities:

  • Support Partner lifecycle (Onboarding, Progression, and Offboarding)
  • Identify process gaps and looks for process automation/improvement/s opportunities
  • Support Partner project rollouts, fixes, enhancements and improvements
  • Manage Partner business plans
  • Partner with Sales Leadership and IT Enablement teams to identify onboarding gaps and gain insights to advise and prioritize existing and future onboarding program development focus areas
  • Orchestrate onboarding program planning from inception to completion, ensuring that internal and external business partners understand scope, roles, responsibilities, and key due dates.
  • Establish key performance indicators to track partner onboarding program efficacy; work with reporting team and Sales Operations team to further develop and maintain important metrics, dashboards, and reporting to make recommendations on onboarding improvements
  • Participate on future Program initiatives
  • Provide consulting/advocacy on Partner Operations
  • Support internal audit requirements
  • Coordinate on Partner General Term (PGT) requirements and Agreements
  • Develop learning content and Facilitates partner trainings
  • Monitor Slack, e-mails, and various online and offline support channels to respond to Partner inquiries and support requests
  • Provide functional guidance on Legal and Partner Experience initiatives
  • Facilitate Leadership for operational questions and tool/system/s functionality
  • Actively review new technology and creative approaches to evolve onboarding experiences

Requirements:

  • 4 + years in business partner management
  • Critical thinking, outstanding writing and editing, impeccable planning and polished relationship-building skills
  • Demonstrated experience managing onboarding program design, development, and deployment successfully with measurable results at a mid to large size tech company
  • Operational skills with ability to vision and build scalable, repeatable programs
  • Change management skill set working with a sales ecosystem.
  • Ability to represent concepts, vision and objectives and communicate across enablement organizations and business partners supporting the build of role relevant learning experiences
  • Well-organized; able to manage multiple tasks and results at one time, and prioritize in a high-pressure often changing environment
  • Collaborative and agile working style with success networking and building relationships to support cross team engagement and alignment
  • Tenacious, persistent and employs a “can do” attitude
  • Experience working with Salesforce Or similar enablement platforms a plus
  • Previous sales (quota carrying) experience a plus
