About the role and about You:

The DTC Project Manager will take on a mix of responsibilities to help drive the day to day operations of DTC smoothly. The Project Manager possesses a mastery of multi-channel project management (with an emphasis on digital, web, CRM) and thrives in a fast-paced setting. Some of the key areas of management include partnership with the creative DTC/CRM working pod to ensure all of the asset timelines are outlined and delivered in time for launches as well as conduct staging reviews with key stakeholders. The project manager will also act as the producer to ensure the deliverables include the right size(s), page weights and the right versions are created to support global DTC touchpoints across our various platforms. The project manager will need to work in a highly cross functional setting; playing a key role in communicating requirements, timelines across a diverse range of stakeholders including localization, engineering, analytics, supply chain, DTC, Brand/Creative to name a few.

They will really grow into a DTC generalist and continue to learn/grow in the eCommerce/CRM domain. A successful candidate is someone who is open to a blend of several areas:

  • The timeliness, risk assessment organization skills of a traditional project manager
  • The facilitation, troubleshooting and technical skill of a traditional producer
  • The cross functional organization and communicational skills of a program manager

The Team:

The DTC team is an integral component of driving the initial experience for visitors; onboarding of new Zwifters and ensuring they have a long lasting relationship with us through our direct touchpoints outside of the game and ZC app.

What you’ll do:

  • New vendor onboarding through Zwift’s internal certification process
  • Work closely with the Ops/procurement team to ensure our orders/inventory are in the warehouse for expected go live.
  • Support the team in the shared ownership of site (s) quality checks; out of stock, outdated messaging, broken links, old copy
  • Maintain and update product related data such as pricing, product tags, promotions, copy
  • Build out the merchandising calendar and align/integrate with the marketing team plans
  • Partner with the team to drive merchandising/DTC/CRM briefs
  • Support key DTC strategic initiatives through cross functional alignment, creating timelines and milestones and ensuring stakeholders are informed and brought along
  • Develop, maintain, and communicate project milestones in order to drive on-time delivery and alert team members of project delays
  • Ensure cross-functional team alignment, maintaining consistent communication with all team members, from core project team to stakeholders and leadership
  • Work closely with engineering/TPM to ensure committed product deliverables are met
  • Work closely with creative, creative project managers and localization teams to create timelines and ensure deliverables are met
  • Building out timelines for project deliverables in partnership with creative for content & assets and TPM, engineering, growth for product related deliverables
  • Keep projects on track through management of workflow, clear task lists and due dates, status reports, and meeting notes
  • Fully understand and exhibit the Zwift values, serve as a brand ambassador internally and externally. Lead by example to inspire more junior associates.
  • Work with tools such as Smartsheets, Miro, Shopify (preferred), and G suite

What we’re looking for:

  • 5+ years relevant experience in project management, eCommerce
  • Ideally 2-3 years of experience as a creative producer
  • Experience in a DTC brand; working with digital merchandising, CRM and key cross functional teams; product, engineering, creative, TPM, Localization
  • Can communicate needs to marketing teams differently than engineering teams
  • Successful experience working in a fast-paced business
  • Outstanding written and verbal communication skills
  • Strong command-presence in meetings
  • Organized with a strong attention to detail
  • Ability to manage multiple projects at a time
  • Ability to foresee project crisis and lead in strategically solving them
  • Flexible attitude to balancing and adjusting to fast-emerging & evolving needs
  • Proactively initiate processes that will improve the department, workflow, and team
  • MVP: someone who is willing to step in to help the greater team move forward
  • Loves digital, eCommerce and wants to learn/grow within this vertical
  • Self-starter who can manage projects autonomously, while collaborating with DTC leads, cross-functional teams and leadership
