Job Description

Description:Represent the Program Office in the management and execution of Diminishing Manufacturing Sources (DMS) resolutions on the C-130J platform. Effectively and extensively engage with internal and external stakeholders to formulate and execute plans that mitigate Production and Sustainment risks across all phases of the DMS lifecycle. Monitor the supply chain for potential DMS impacts. Once identified, manage DMS impacts through the Design Review Board (DRB), proposal preparation, and contract award phases and ultimately through execution to achieve impact resolution.
Basic Qualifications:
• Leadership of cross-functional team with responsibility for quality/technical, schedule and cost performance
• Experience working with cross functional (engineering, procurement, sustainment, production operations, Contracts, Finance and Business Operations) teams
• Solid technical knowledge of C-130 (or similar aircraft) Platform configurations and overall system interdependencies
• Project management experience with knowledge of risk identification and management
• Experience establishing relationships with customer, supply base and internal organizations
• Experience with Microsoft Office Suite: Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Project
• Active Interim Secret Clearance or higher
Desired Skills:
• Technical background with knowledge of subsystem hardware and software design lifecycle
• Interface experience with suppliers and subcontract management
• Knowledge of Earned Value Management
• Proposal preparation experience
• Contract negotiation experience
• Ability to work in a high stress / high tempo environment
• Strong interpersonal and communications skills, both written and oral
• Capable of working with ambiguity and develop relevant paths to execution
