What is special about this role?

The combination of support and validation activities. You will be supporting a world-class lab that sequences both human and certain viruses, as well as does covid testing.

As a LIMS Support Engineer, you will:

• Work with Lab Production and R&D, Engineering, and the Bioinformatics team to develop and deploy comprehensive LIMS applications for both high-scale COVID-19 testing as well as Exome+ sequencing for Helix’s population genomics initiatives.
• Build and maintain software integrations for Helix NGS Lab equipment that is highly secure and high-performance.
• Integrate and implement lab informatics tools and applications.
• Resolve production issues, track deviations, and assist with investigation and impact assessments.
• Participate in validation activities in partnership with the Quality organization.
• Own deliverables from ideation to production operationalization.

About you:

• 2+ years experience with LIMS System
• Basic knowledge of Linux
• Basic knowledge of relational databases

Pluses:

• Experience with tools such as Github, JIRA, Veeva and Medialabs
• Familiarity with regulated software systems and entities
• Familiarity with full-stack development
