DevOps Engineer

The Challenge:

Do you want to build and deliver a powerhouse system that will modernize Army software? You know a good system is more than just a nice-looking interface + data and you need the right combination of programming expertise to build a user focused solution. As a software developer, you’ll deliver solutions in a fast-paced, Agile environment. We’re looking for someone like you to build and enhance data fabric and warfighting software from vision to production-ready system.

As a software developer on our team, you’ll work directly with your customers to overcome their most difficult challenges using the latest architectural approaches like microservices, pub/sub and modular open systems alongside open source frameworks and tools like Swagger and Spring Boot. You’ll use your passion to learn new tools and techniques to implement system improvements and mentor teammates. Using Agile life cycle development, you’ll build solutions for the warfighter. You’ll code and deliver the solution that supports the current architecture and operating environment, as well as drive future functionality and enhancements. This position requires minimal travel. This position is open to remote delivery anywhere within the U.S., to include the District of Columbia.

You Have:

• Experience with Kubernetes, Helm, or Docker
• Experience with DevOps tools, including Jenkins or GitLab
• Knowledge of AWS, GCP, or Azure
• Knowledge of EFK Stack, including Elasticsearch, Fluentd, and Kibana
• Ability to obtain a security clearance
• Bachelors degree

Nice If You Have:

• Experience with NGINX, GitOps, Flux, or Argo
• Ability to troubleshoot issues faced in the working Kubernetes environment and CI/CD pipeline
• Secret clearance
• Bachelor's degree

Clearance:

Applicants selected will be subject to a security investigation and may need to meet eligibility requirements for access to classified information.

Compensation:

The proposed salary range for this position in Colorado is 100,000 to 120,000. Final salary will be determined based on various factors.
