As a Facility Operations Associate Manager (Level 4) you will manage maintenance and company facilities, real property, infrastructure and equipment at a level commensurable with design criteria and projected facility use. In this role, you will provide oversight of budget administration, planning and scheduling activities, workflow analysis, and recommendation of capital acquisition or modifications.
Duties will include monitoring and managing various aspects of the site including:
• Energy management operations
• Repair and rearrangement requirements from project initiation to completion.
• Oversee building and grounds maintenance, repair and rearrangement requirements from project initiation to completion.
You will manage allocation of department resources to ensure priority projects are implemented in a timely manner:
• Provide oversight of budget administration, planning and scheduling activities, workflow analysis, management system implementation, and recommendation of capital acquisitions or modifications.
• Assure prompt resolution of scheduling conflicts
• Ensure job and cost performance and adherence to design and sustainment requirements.
• Solution equipment and maintenance problems or concerns
• Apply appropriate policy and procedures
• Monitor job performance, safety, and environmental concerns
• Responsible for coordinating subordinate (represented and salaried) employee recruitment, selection and training, performance assessment, work assignments, salary, and recognition/disciplinary actions.
• Provide technical guidance and direction as needed.
A level 4 employee Typically has 9 - 15 years of professional experience.

Palmdale, CA
This position is in Palmdale, CA Discover Palmdale.
Basic Qualifications:
• Prior experience directing and managing employees, (hourly, salaried, represented, etc)
• Experience managing, operating, servicing, and maintaining commercial facility infrastructure and/or industrial machinery and equipment
• Experience providing oversight of budget administration, planning and scheduling activities, workflow analysis and management system implementation.
• Experience in the administration and planning of Planned Maintenance (PM) Operations and activities
• Familiarity with Maintenance Management Systems and Processes like CMMS.
Desired Skills:
-Familiarity with the administration of infrastructure-related maintenance and repair operations.
-Experience directing/managing bargaining unit (Union/CBA) employees
-Experience with MS Office Suite
-Experience in a multi-Union environment.
-Familiarity with MAXIMO or similar platforms
-Understanding of rules, regulations, requirements and codes as they pertain to Plant Engineering (includes environmental, safety, California Air Resources Board (CARB), National Fire Protection Association (NFPA), Cal-OSHA)
-Detailed technical communication skills - written and verbal
-Exceptional people and leadership skills
