Job Description

The Automotive Electronics (AE) division continuously develops new electrical units (e.g. for combustion engines, inverters, airbags) including a wide range of power modules or sensors in close cooperation with manufacturing. These products are engineered to a state-of-the-art knowledge level both in technology and reliability and are to be found in cars of a very large group of manufacturers. From the development and production activities a large amount of data is provided of which analysis and high quality evaluation is essential in development of our processes.

Your contribution to something big:

► Analyse datasets acquired during the technology development and production of automotive products (e.g. power modules or sensors), choose the proper machine learning algorithm to produce smart solutions to improve decision making considering customer specifications, reliability theory, automotive standards and legal regulations.

► Provide support for both the development and production activities to decrease development costs and the internal defect cost (IDC).

► Design and optimize data analytics workflows.

► Perform and develop of goal-specific solutions for image processing and segmentation methods.

► Create/develop tools, frameworks or production line applications to automatize and deploy the results processed by ML activities.

► Initiate open discussions, provide clear communication and answers with your data, deliver results according to project timelines and quality expectations, and create/present reports.

► Continuous improvement of analytic workflows regarding performance based on user feedback.

► Collaborate and share methodologies actively with your internal and external partners and business requirements in manufacturing and technology development.

Qualifications

What distinguishes you:

► MSc/PhD in computer science, mechanical/electrical engineering, physics or comparable.

►Strong programming skills in Python (Pandas, Numpy), C++, C#, Java, knowledge of SQL.

► Strong background and experience in data mining workflow (e.g. CRISP-DM) and development of machine learning algorithms, neural networks, dashboards.

► Excellent statistical, analytical and problem solving skills.

► Knowledge of major DevOps tools: source control (Bitbucket/GitHub), automation engine (Jenkins), containers (Docker), script (Python, Groovy, Shell).

► Precise working style, good planning, time management and organizational skills, active tracking of tasks.

► Ability to work individually and in international teams, sharing ideas, good cooperation skills.

► Be self-initiative, open to learn new technologies/development structure, innovative and have a growth mindset.

► Good communication and presentation skills.

► Language: Hungarian and fluent English are required, German is plus.
