About the role:

We seek a highly skilled deal maker to bring independent publishers to the Skillz platform. In this role, you will lead the business and client-facing technical resources dedicated to building an extensive and growing portfolio of profitable mobile games.

You are a deal maker that can work with game studio founders to maximize business outcomes for both parties. In this role, you motivate studios to build and launch original IP, build titles using licenses from our brand partners (NFL/UFC), and iterate titles to find products and market fit with the latest features in the Skillz platform. Using insights from Skillz Data Science and User Acquisition, you will elevate self-published titles to the top of the app store charts.

What you'll do:

  • Identify performant self-published titles and maximize their revenue potential with the Skillz platform
  • Build executive relationships with game studio founders and be trusted business partners
  • At the level needed for a high-profile public company, accurately forecast and grow revenue programs.
  • Give product and engineering team well-defined product needs from a prioritized list of accounts
  • Audit process and drive efficiencies in Skillz processes to scale revenue.
  • Recruit, train, and ongoing mentorship of your SA, CSM, and BD resources.
  • Build and document scalable revenue programs and train cross-functional teams to use them.
  • Create a vibrant community as a visible leader at industry events and frequent travel to partners.


  • 10+ years of work experience in revenue leadership roles
  • 5+ years of people management experience
  • Understanding of the games industry and prevent business models
  • Run performance managed sales and account management teams
  • Enjoy being both hands-on individual contributor and people manager
  • Four-year degree with MBA preferred
  • Exceptional written, verbal, and interpersonal communication skills
  • Love to compete and win as a well coordinate team
  • Understand financial statements, ownership structures, and warrant programs
  • Familiarity with Skillz platform and mastery of one or more of our games a plus
